Victorian Egyptian Revival Scarab & Pearl Earrings banded agate Maker's mark S BrosDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 Cool Victorian Egyptian Revival earrings dating from the 1880s. Each earring is set with a (real) scarab beetle, punctuated by two pearls. They're crafted in 9 karat yellow gold throughout, made during the 19th Century's second wave of Egyptomania inspired by the completion of the Suez canal in 1869.
